Paper Cloud Multiple locations
Fabricated with bond paper, wire, LED tape light and lots of staples, Paper Cloud is a collaborative endeavor, constructed by several hundred individuals. Building on the strength found in numbers, the group's collective effort yields a result that is greater than the sum of its parts.
Originally designed for AIA San Antonio's Beaux Arts Ball, the project grew to include installations at the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts, the San Antonio Zoo School, the Witte Museum, and the San Antonio Ballet. Participants attended cloud building sessions where they learned the subtleties of cloud construction, LED wiring, and expressive stapling. More than a dozen workshops have been conducted, over a thousand person hours, hundreds and hundreds of clouds.
